- We do not tolerate any form of bribery, facilitation payment, or improper advantage.

4. Definition of Bribery and Corruption
Bribery is the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of anything of value to influence the actions of another party in an improper manner. Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. Both are strictly prohibited under this policy.
5. Prohibited Practices
- Offering or accepting bribes, kickbacks, or other improper payments.
- Providing or receiving personal benefits, commissions, or incentives intended to secure an improper advantage.
- Making facilitation payments to expedite or secure routine government actions.
- Concealing payments, falsifying invoices, or using intermediaries to disguise improper transactions.
- Making political or charitable contributions intended to influence business decisions.
6. Gifts, Hospitality, and Entertainment
TechChef recognizes that modest and reasonable gifts or hospitality can build legitimate business relationships. However, the following rules apply:
- Gifts, meals, or entertainment must never be offered or accepted with the intent to influence a decision.
- All gifts or hospitality must be lawful, proportionate, and transparent.
- Employees must not offer gifts or entertainment to government officials without prior written approval from senior management.
- Cash or cash equivalents (such as gift cards or vouchers) are strictly prohibited.
- Any gift or hospitality above a reasonable threshold should be recorded and reported to compliance at info@techchef.me.
7. Commissions and Payments
- All payments to consultants, agents, or intermediaries must be legitimate and supported by documented contracts.
- Commissions must be proportionate to the services rendered and approved by authorized management.
- Under no circumstances may commissions be used to conceal bribes or improper advantages.
- Payments should always be made through traceable banking channels, never in cash.
8. Dealings with Government Officials
- TechChef employees must exercise extreme caution in all interactions with government officials, including regulators, tax authorities, or public-sector clients.
- No gifts, entertainment, or payments of any kind may be made to government officials to obtain or retain business or to influence an official act.
- All communication and correspondence with government entities must be truthful, accurate, and documented.
9. Record Keeping and Transparency
- All business records, including invoices, receipts, and contracts, must accurately reflect transactions and expenditure.
- False or misleading entries are strictly prohibited.
- Employees must maintain transparency in all financial dealings and disclose any potential conflict of interest.
10. Conflicts of Interest
Employees and representatives must avoid situations where personal interests conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of TechChef or its clients. Any actual or potential conflict must be promptly reported to info@techchef.me.
11. Due Diligence on Third Parties
TechChef conducts appropriate due diligence before engaging with new clients, suppliers, or intermediaries. This includes reviewing ownership, reputation, and compliance history to ensure alignment with our ethical standards.
12. Reporting and Whistleblowing
- Any employee, client, or third party who suspects a violation of this policy must report it immediately to info@techchef.me.
- Reports will be treated confidentially, and no individual will suffer retaliation for reporting in good faith.
- TechChef will investigate all reports thoroughly and take appropriate disciplinary or legal action where necessary.
13. Responsibilities
- Employees: Must read, understand, and comply with this policy.
- Managers and supervisors: Responsible for promoting ethical behavior and ensuring compliance within their teams.
- Third parties: Must agree to adhere to this policy as a condition of engagement.

Any breach of this policy will result in disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment or contract, legal proceedings, and reporting to relevant authorities.
